Image Processing

In order to increase business, one of our customers needed to compare vast quantities of images of different items from different sources. Instead of looking at images and comparing them by hand, we let our customers know about Noventum™’s knowledge in image processing. This project uses Python 2.7 and ImageMagick 6.8. We developed a process, to iterate over groups of images and robustly determine if any images in the group are the same by a confidence rating. This is an ongoing project with great potential in how carefully the images are compared and in the details of the resulting data.
