SOAPWare System Admin

For the past five years, Noventum™ has managed a small heterogeneous Windows network running the electronic medical record system SOAPWare. This began with a hosted version of SOAPWare 4.8 running an MsSQL 7 database, then moved to a cloud-based system, then finally back to a locally hosted (PostgreSQL) system. Managing a Windows Server 2000 machine, Windows XP, Vista, and 7, has presented numerous challenges. Additionally, I live four hours away from this location, so building as much redundancy into their system as possible has helped us avoid numerous issues and ’emergency’ trips.
