Upcoming Noventum WordPress Workalongs
Noventum sponsors a number of WordPress work-alongs, in order to meet new people, help existing clients, and promote WordPress.
WordPress is a free piece of software that exists because of thousands of volunteers. As part of giving back to the WordPress community, Noventum is happy to help others learn about WordPress and thus will cover the costs for these events. Please RSVP to participate:
- Thursday, November 14th, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Ideas and Coffee, Albuquerque
- Thursday, November 21st, 4 - 6 p.m., Tumbleroots, Santa Fe
- Saturday, November 16th, 10 a.m. - noon, Durango Space, Durango

Brian worked with Anwar on helping Elizabeth Gabel Casting safely dispose of her old website. Project creation, maintenance, and death are all important pieces of the software development life cycle. The client decided that maintenance of their Drupal 6 site was too expensive, and Noventum helped them securely dispose of it, after providing an offline backup for archival purposes. Noventum inherited this site, and typically does not recommend Drupal because of these extreme maintenance costs.

Junchao has finished server migration of Noventum. Now those home-hosted dev sites are on the new server, which is faster and more stable than the old one. Also he has been working on WordPress websites maintenance: updating live and dev sites, creating new dev sites, fixing issues of configuration and synchronization.

If you wake up on a Casper mattress, work out with a Peloton before breakfast, Uber to your desk at a WeWork, order DoorDash for lunch, take a Lyft home, and get dinner through Postmates, you've interacted with seven companies that will collectively lose nearly $14B this year...
